Learning I had Covid-19 was frightening, to say the least. This was around Christmas time and I started to freak out because I had been to visit family for the holiday. I did not feel any symptoms until 2 days later, on December 27. Then my symptoms were a congested nose and sore throat. I told my manager at work and they gave me off for the 2 weeks. I did not get tested though until the 29th and got the confirmed result the next night at 8:30 pm. From there, it got worse before it got better. I was finally able to catch up on my TV shows and movies. Thank goodness I work from home and have for the last 9 to 10 months. Even still, the company I work for had me not work, which I think helped. I also took Vitamin D, which gave me energy. I had enough energy that I was able to shovel. I was not around the neighbors or anyone else at that time. I stayed inside, otherwise. The only other symptom, I got once I was feeling better, is that I lost my sense of taste and smell. I got it back, only because I was taking the Vitamin D supplement. I only lost those senses for five days. I am glad to have survived this. Bring on the vaccine once I am eligible!
